The project was won in a design competition. The brief called for a Five Star Hotel with Serviced Apartments and Retail.

The principle circulation in the building is organized along a cross axis which is translated into the building’s form. Careful articulation of the building’s components along with its aluminium cladding and glazing gives the building its unique iconic appearance.
